Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus!

Saints, we are excited about a Gospel gathering we’ve planned for the Fall of 2013 at Mount Pilgrim, and we want you to get excited, too. As part of a music ministry

workshop, the second and final day will feature a special concept. We’re calling it “GospelFest.”

Special guest recording artist Minister DeWitt Johnson from Nashville, Tennessee, will conduct the workshop on the evening of Friday, October 18, and Saturday morning, October 19. The workshop is open to choir members from all churches. Registration for the workshop is $10 per person. Participants will receive workshop materials, Spirit-filled teaching from our guest instructor, lunch on Saturday, and free entry to GospelFest Saturday afternoon.

GospelFest will show forth the glory of God in all types of music styles, from quartet to a cappella; from dance to drama. There will be instrumentalists, mimes, comedians, and even acrobats if we can find some! Young to old, all denominations – we want to bring together saints from Baton Rouge and the surrounding area in an all-day

festival featuring Christian talent. Of course, workshop artist Minister Johnson will perform with the workshop choir at GospelFest.

We’ll have a hallelujah good time, no doubt. In addition to the artistry of the performers, vendors will be on hand with exactly the items a saint could use. We’ll give Christian vendors a venue to share the productivity gifts God has given them. What better buyers than other Christians? The Family Life Center at Mount Pilgrim will be set up with booth space both inside where the performance area will be ($150/booth rental) and in the Galleria outside the performance area but still inside the building ($100/booth rental).

If you’re thinking that this sounds like a Christian version of JazzFest, you’re absolutely right. Attached to this letter are a workshop registration form and a booth rental agreement. Call the number shown on this letterhead if
